Terms & Conditions of United Overseas Bank (UOB) Mastercard x Alipay Campaign 2026
When can you enjoy the offer
- The promotional period is from 7 September 2026 (00:00 SGT) until 31 December 2026 (23:59 SGT) (the "Promotional Period").
Limited promotion quotas available. The promotion may end early once all available promotion quotas have been fully redeemed.
What is the offer
- New UOB Mastercard Binding Offer: During the Promotional Period, the promotion offers one (1) RMB 10 coupon to UOB Mastercard cardmembers who successfully link their Eligible Card (as defined in Clause 4 below) to Alipay for the first time (a "new UOB Mastercard Alipay users", as defined in Clause 5 below). The RMB 10 coupon can only be applied to UOB Mastercard card transactions via Alipay with minimum spend of RMB 220 or more. The coupon is valid for 7 days from the date of issuance, which such date falls on the same date of successful linking. Each eligible Alipay user is entitled to receive the coupon once during the Promotional Period.
- UOB Mastercard Usage Offer: During the Promotional Period, UOB Mastercard cardmembers with their Eligible Card linked to Alipay can enjoy an instant discount of RMB 10 when completing transactions of RMB 220 or above by paying with their Eligible Card via Alipay. Each eligible Alipay user is entitled to receive the instant discount once during the Promotional Period.
How can you enjoy the offer
- You can enjoy the offer if:
a. You are a principal or supplementary cardmember of a UOB Mastercard-branded credit or debit card issued in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia or Vietnam (each, an "Eligible Card");
b. You are an Alipay user with a valid Alipay account. This promotion is only available on Alipay and only for purchases made in Chinese mainland using Alipay;
and
c. Your Eligible Card and the corresponding Eligible Card account are valid and in good standing during the Promotional Period and at the time any reward is granted and/or redeemed under this promotion. - For this promotion, "new UOB Mastercard Alipay users" refer strictly to Alipay users who are linking an Eligible Card to Alipay for the first time historically, based on Alipay account records. Alipay users with a previously linked Eligible Card to Alipay are not eligible for the New UOB Mastercard Binding Offer set out in Clause 2 above by unlinking an Eligible Card and relinking the same Eligible Card or a different Eligible Card.
How to Register and Pay with an Eligible Card using Alipay
You can follow the steps below to register and pay with your Eligible Card using Alipay:
a. Download the Alipay app;
b. Tap "Sign Up";
c. Go to "Me" > "Bank Cards", then register your Eligible Card;
d. Set the registered Eligible Card as your payment card; and
e. Make an eligible transaction using one of the following methods:
i. Scan a merchant’s QR code;
ii. Show your payment code in the Alipay app to merchant; or
iii. Select Alipay as the payment method in participating mini-apps or partner merchant apps.
Read before you enjoy the offer
- Coupons and instant discounts are valid only for making the eligible transactions with an Eligible Card using Alipay. Eligible transactions may not be applicable to scenarios such as Express Pay, partial User-presented Mode scenarios and auto-debit scenarios.
- Each eligible Alipay user is entitled to receive only one promotion package during the Promotional Period. Eligibility is limited by unique Alipay account ID. Alipay account or account ID is identified based on a combination of factors including but not limited to Alipay account number, identification document number, mobile phone number, mobile device and bank card number. If any two or more transactions share one or more of these identifiers, they may be regarded as belonging to the same user for the purposes of this promotion. The promotion package may include the following offers subject to the Alipay user’s eligibility under these terms and conditions:
a. one RMB 10 coupon for new UOB Mastercard Alipay Users; and
b. one instant discount of RMB 10 for existing or new UOB Mastercard Alipay Users. - This UOB Mastercard x Alipay campaign is conducted in conjunction with the Mastercard campaign "Mastercard x Alipay SEA Campaign". Participants may receive total rewards of up to RMB 80 when both promotions are combined, which comprise of the following:
a. New UOB Mastercard Binding Offer of RMB 10 coupon;
b. UOB Mastercard Usage Offer of RMB 10 instant discount; and
c. Additional rewards provided by Mastercard of up to RMB 60 subject to the Alipay user’s eligibility and terms and conditions of the Mastercard campaign. For details of the Mastercard campaign, please refer to the Mastercard website https://specials.priceless.com/en-sg/offers/Get_rewarded_with_RMB_30_off?Oid=202608140004. - Each coupon is valid for seven (7) days from the date of issuance and expires thereafter (Alipay system time applies). If the eligible transaction is cancelled or refunded and the cancellation is processed within the original 7-day validity period, the coupon may be automatically reinstated. Refunds will be processed based on the actual amount paid (after discount) and any used discount will not be reinstated.
- Instant discount will not be returned if the eligible transaction is cancelled or refunded.
- Each eligible transaction may only enjoy one of the promotion offers set out in Clause 8 above. The coupons and instant discount cannot be combined within the same eligible transaction.
- A 3% cross-border transaction fee may be charged by Alipay on transactions exceeding RMB 200.
- Coupons apply only when Alipay is selected as the payment method within the Alipay app or participating mini-programs.
- This promotion is subject to a daily quota and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last, and may end early without prior notice once all coupons and/or instant discounts are claimed.
- To ensure the orderly execution of this promotion, if any participant is suspected of illegal or irregular conduct (including but not limited to money laundering, fraud, cashing out benefits, sham transactions, infringement upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, publication of illegal or non-compliant content, etc.), or engages in buying or selling any rights and interests associated with this promotion, the promotion organiser reserves the right to adopt disciplinary measures including disqualifying the participant from the promotion, removing illegal and non-compliant content, and revoking all benefits obtained by the participant from the promotion organiser (if applicable).
- UOB is neither a vendor nor a service provider of this promotion, thus UOB is not responsible for the product or services provided by the merchant. The product/service purchased by the cardmember is provided by the merchant itself, and UOB and Alipay are not responsible for merchant’s acts/omissions, product quality, delivery, or any dispute between you and the merchant. Any dispute about product/service should be raised directly with the merchant, while any dispute about coupon usage, discount application, Alipay account issues or Alipay fees should be raised directly with Alipay.
- No person other than the cardmember of an Eligible Card and UOB will have any right to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these terms and conditions.
- In case of disputes arising out of this promotion, to the extent permitted by applicable law, UOB, Mastercard and Alipay reserve the right to interpret these terms and conditions in connection with this promotion.
- These terms and conditions are subject to prevailing applicable regulatory requirements.
- These terms and conditions shall be read in conjunction with the prevailing UOB Cardmembers Agreement, UOB Corporate Cardmember Agreement, UOB Corporate Cardmember Agreement (Personal Liability), UOB Debit Cardmember Agreement or UOB Business World Debit Cardmember Agreement (as applicable) and any other terms that may be relevant in connection with this promotion (collectively the "Standard Terms"). In the event of any inconsistency between (i) these terms and conditions and the Standard Terms, these terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency; and (ii) these terms and conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity, brochure, marketing or other materials relating to or in connection with the promotion these terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent that such discrepancy relates to this promotion.
- In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese version of the promotional materials and these terms and conditions, the English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the territory where the Eligible Card is issued and all participants shall be deemed to have agreed to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in territory where their Eligible Card is issued.
