Less is more here at Tuve, a boutique hotel for travellers who love minimalism. Many travelling designers stay at this hotel but be warned, it is for those who want to stay somewhere unconventional and possibly enjoy solitude.

The rooms are utilitarian, with every item in the room having a distinct function. In other words, there is no unnecessary decoration – the colour palette is neutral and raw.

Tuve is luxurious in its simplicity; they are all about the finer details. Don’t expect a long list of amenities, but the small things like a Tom Dixon incense placed precisely on the floor of every lift.

Tuve is all about being understated; you will have to look hard for the hotel signage.

Behind the unassuming façade of corten steel is the hotel’s restaurant; Silver Room.

Where the guest experience begins – the reception lobby feels more an art gallery; the design of the counter curates a new form of interaction between hotel staff and guests.

The essentials: The rooms are minimalist and utilitarian, yet aesthetically pleasing. Real attention is paid to the details and quality of all the elements.
